How to see the customizing modifications?

I am using now the trial version, and after having customized by my
own the categories' description, I can't see the modifications
appearing in the program... Could you please advise me on this point.

Custom Sales Order with variable parts included

Hi All!
Could you tell me how I could create a Sales Order for the same item
every time, but this item is the sum of many different parts in my
inventory.
e.g. I sell a Milkshake... this would mean I am also using 2 Milk, 3
Sugar, 2 Banana and 5 Ice Cream.

Clean the printout from header and footer

Hi, I created a PO, printed it and also saved it as a pdf to email to
my vendor, but it has these lines on the top which I would like to
remove, as well as 'print this page' and 'cancel' links at the
bottom.
Can you tell me how to clean it up please? Or should I be printing
